Brief Description: Youthbuild is currently looking for a IL certified secondary english teacher to work with "at risk" students between the ages of 17-24.Teacher must have a knowledge of differentiated instruction.
Full Description: Primary duties are moving students up from a high school level of English/Language Arts to a college level during a 10 month period. Candidates should be able to teach in a very energetic, kinesthetic way with an strong understanding and knowledge of differentiated instruction. Youthbuild Mclean County is a charter school which offers a comprehensive program of instruction leading to a high school diploma and college preparedness. Our unique school offers high risk students age 17-24 a chance to earn a diploma or GED in a creative, experiential, empowering and respectful environment.
