    Formerly the Charter Schools Office, the ONS offers guidance and support to school design teams as they develop their school proposals. Resources include:
    • Pre-Proposal Grants (typically ranging from $1000 to $3500)
    • Proposal Preparation Workshops
    • Tours of Successful Schools
    • Individual Counseling Sessions and Mock Interviews
  • Chicago Public Schools: Renaissance 2010 Support Center
    The Ren2010 Support Center provides school design teams approved by the Chicago Board of Education with the opportunity to access collegial support, office space and technology support, academic support, and operational support.
  • Renaissance Schools Fund (formerly New Schools for Chicago)
    The Renaissance Schools Fund is a philanthropic organization created to support Renaissance 2010. The organization helps to fund new schools during the planning, incubation and ramp-up phases of their development. RSF participates in the evaluation of school proposals and selectively awards grants to approved Ren2010 design teams based on distinct criteria (available in Appendix J of the 2005 Ren2010 Request for Proposals.
