INCS is the first and only membership organization working to advance the charter school movement in Illinois. We promote and invigorate the charter school model through direct services to members as well as through our advocacy work.

Here's some of what we do on behalf of our members:

• Advocacy: INCS advocates for all charter schools when speaking to public officials, media outlets, and individuals in the community to ensure that your organization and its goals are reflected accurately.
• School Supports: Through INCS, member schools also have access to a variety of School Support programs, including education/practice-based support and operational/administrative resources and guidance, ranging from our annual Teacher Job Fair to legal seminars to special education compliance help. • Charter Start-Up Support: In addition to member support, INCS provides assistance to groups seeking to start new charter schools outside of Chicago. For more information, visit our Start a Charter section.
