The Illinois Network of Charter Schools (INCS) congratulates Dr. Janice K. Jackson on her official appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Chicago Public Schools (CPS).
Dr. Jackson brings deep professional experience and a unique perspective to her new role. In addition to being a product of Chicago Public Schools, Dr. Jackson began her teaching career at Chicago’s South Shore High School and has since served as a principal, a Network Chief, and the Chief Education Officer for CPS. What’s more, she is the parent of a current CPS student.
INCS has had the pleasure of working with Dr. Jackson in her previous role, and we look forward to continuing our partnership to enhance educational opportunities for Chicago’s children.
The Illinois Network of Charter Schools (INCS) is dedicated to the improvement of public education by establishing high-quality charter public schools that transform lives and communities.
