Plan, direct, coordinate work actives of Human Resources. Advises Cabinet-level members on organizational policy issues and recommends needed change. Creates and manages job descriptions. Administers payroll system (Paylocity), including oversight of weekly payroll processing. Acts as Plan Administrator for benefit programs, including overseeing enrollment and troubleshooting benefit issues. Oversees the worker compensation process. Develops and administers an effective recruitment program. Maintains up-to-date employee files in accordance with acceptable human resource practices.
Professional 3-5 years experience in management preferred
Master’s Degree in Education from an accredited educational institution preferred
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to maintain a positive public relations image
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and up-to-date records
Demonstrate flexibility to perform duties when necessary
Knowledge of laws, legal codes, and government regulations for employment law and benefit compliance
