We are looking for an entrepreneurial, creative, team-oriented Director of Finance & Operations to join our leadership team and help us take this unique contract school to the next level. The Director of Finance and Operations will work closely with the School Principal and a variety of other internal staff and external contractors to provide smooth and efficient operations of the school including overseeing all accounting and financial management, HR Administration, Chicago Public Schools and grant compliance and facilities operations and events. As a key member of the school leadership team, this position is responsible for managing an efficient and well-functioning facility for students and staff. Additionally, this position provides the first point of contact and coordinating problem solver for all matters relating to financial reporting, facilities, food service, student recordkeeping, human resources and compliance. This unique position is ideal for the individual who is comfortable multi-tasking, knowledgeable across several disciplines, comfortable interacting with all levels of internal and external constituents and seeking variety in their day to day activities.
