ReGeneration Schools is a nonprofit school management organization that’s dedicated to revitalizing failing schools through a college prep and character mission. We manage three elementary Chicago International Charter Schools (CICS) on the south-side of Chicago, IL: CICS Avalon, CICS Basil, and CICS Washington Park. ReGeneration currently serves over 1,600 low-income students, with over 93% of our students identifying as African-American. We are dedicated to closing the achievement gap because we believe the only way for our society to build a better democracy is by rebuilding America’s failing schools.
We are seeking full-time Elementary Teachers (K-4 Grades) to join our campuses for the 2020-2021 school year. Kindergarten and 1st grade have lead and co-teachers. The primary responsibility of an elementary teacher is the implementation and development of ReGenerations’ curriculum and the success of its students. We seek teachers who have superior content knowledge, a track record of providing excellent learning experiences that deepens students’ understanding of multiple literacy concepts, and are committed to continuously improving their practice through collaboration.
