High School Teaching positions in Mathematics, Chemistry/Physics, English, Social Studies, and Special Education

A small, independent, public charter school on Chicago’s South Side seeks full-time, high school teachers in English, Mathematics, Chemistry/Physics, Social Studies, and Special Education for the 2018-2019 school year. Teachers who have outstanding instructional planning and data analysis skills and who are committed to fostering a strong culture of achievement in their classrooms and the school will excel in these positions and will find the work fulfilling and rewarding. Candidates must also be strong collaborators and willing to play an active role in a growing school that is diversifying its academic offerings and increasing supports for students and staff. · Bachelor’s degree or higher

· Proven track record of success as a teacher

· Experience working with student assessment data

· Experience managing a classroom, PBIS strategies preferred

· Illinois certification with the applicable subject area endorsement
