INCS Action Field Organizer, Canvasser Opportunity

The Illinois Network of Charter Schools’ sister agency, INCS Action, is seeking field organizers to support our work this election season. The stakes are high for Chicago charter public schools, and we are looking for charter alumni, parents, and supporters to join our field program. As a field organizer you will support INCS Action in the 2019 elections, and engage directly with other alumni, parents, and community members. Some responsibilities include:

  • Manage a group of canvassers, phone bankers, and GOTV alert
  • Report back to the field team about likely voters and what observations made in target areas
  • Record number of phone calls and door knocks made throughout the day
  • Help train volunteers with material, scripts, and navigating targeted neighborhoods
  • Supervise volunteers and workload
  • Positive outlook
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft and Excel

Flexible hours; part/full time

-$15 an hour

-Able to work on the weekends if needed
