The UChicago Charter School’s North Kenwood/Oakland campus is named after and located at the juncture of the South Side neighborhoods of North Kenwood and Oakland, historic communities formed by African Americans and others seeking a better life, including high quality educational opportunities for their children. Position Summary:
This position will deliver ambitious physical education and health instruction that not only incorporates evidence-based analysis of practice in order to assure that all students can achieve at high levels, but also provides a stimulating, challenging, and productive learning environment.
Position Qualifications:
Applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in education and appropriate state licensure, at least 2 years of urban teaching experience in related field and proven program planning and development experience. Applicant will be an excellent teacher of students, reflective and receptive to professional feedback and coaching, and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
