Supervises and evaluates CLCS personnel (4). Works closely with D300 Special Education administration. Administer and supervise staff in accordance with current Illinois Special Education policies. Directs case management services. Coordinates and oversees compliance and implementation of IDEA, Section 504 of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other ISBE mandates for students with disabilities.
General Administrative. Special Education endorsement preferred. Master’s Degree with courses focused on Special Education from a regionally accredited institution of higher education
Special Education teacher, administration, and or/related service personnel (3 years minimum) preferred
Presently hold Illinois Director of Special Education endorsement
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to maintain a positive public relations image
