The 2008 Charter School Profiles showcase the unique visions and innovative programming found at the charter schools in Illinois. In a major education policy speech, President Barack Obama called on states to lift arbitrary caps on charter schools	New profiles added! Roadmaps to Innovation is a school-to-school mentoring program between charters and other public schools that gives each school a chance to collaborate and innovate.
