Youth Connection Charter School – Progressive Leadership Academy

Progressive Leadership Academy, formerly Charles Houston High School, offers students opportunities to get back on track by completing classes needed to get a high school diploma. Progressive Leadership Academy is a community-based learning campus which provides an IT pathway that emphasizes critical thinking skills along with a self-reliance mindset. The program focuses on robotics and coding, Microsoft Office Suites, FUSE(STEAM) and video production. Students are provided with intervention supports that bolster their spirits while creating a positive, safe environment for learning. Progressive Leadership Academy provides flexible scheduling, dual credit and dual enrollment courses, career assessments and employment placement services.
